Childnet excels at supporting users in digital communities and encouraging young people to embrace the positives of the internet and challenge them about conduct and responsibilities online.

During 2009, with the support of many organisations and individuals, Childnet reached out to over 20,000 young people, countless school staff, and held over 400 parents meetings. They worked with governments and industry stakeholders worldwide and helped the many more who utilise their information and learning resources.

The need for Childnet's work is now more important than ever, as we increasingly see younger and younger children having greater access to and ownership of new technologies, but we can only continue do this vital work with the support and partnership of others.

During this year and the next we will do everything we can to continue to help make the internet and new technologies safe for children and to promote the voice of youth in a digital world. Join us in making the internet a great and safe place by supporting Childnet International.
