Terms and Conditions

1. This competition is open to students under the age of 20 years old and over the age of 13 years old.

2. Entrants will submit entries to their schools, who will then select a maximum of 5 entries in each category for submission. The school's decision is final in this matter and Childnet International will not accept any entries by any other route where students are attending an educational institution. Where students are home schooled, entries can be submitted by the student’s parent or guardian. The closing date for receipt of entries by Childnet International from schools is midnight on 31 January 2008. Entries received after this date will not be eligible for entry into the competition.

3. Winners will be announced on 13 February and each be awarded a Video iPod. Winning entries will be showcased on Childnet International’s Digizen site.

4. Any personal information collected during the course of the competition by Childnet International will only be used for administering this competition. Subject to parental consent winners may be required to participate in publicity such as press interviews or other promotion of Childnet International’s Digizen site.

5. Childnet International reserves the right to use the entries in any manner it sees fit (including with or without attribution) within future Childnet International communications. Entries may also be used for press and media purposes.

6. Each entry submitted must be the original work of the named entrant or entrants. Each entrant will be responsible for ensuring that consent has been obtained for the use of any person represented in video, audio or photographic content in the submission.

7. We accept no responsibility for entries lost, delayed, or mislaid, howsoever caused.

8. Only one entry per person. Institutions may submit a maximum of 5 entries per category.

9. Childnet International's decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into in relation to such decision.

10. There is no cash alternative and the prizes must be taken as offered. Childnet International reserves the right to substitute prize(s) of an equivalent value should the prizes become unavailable for any reason.
